Here’s some pictures of our new prelit Christmas tree all decorated.

And Some of my favorite ornaments:
The boys’ baby ornaments. The green one is Aaron’s, and the horse is Zach’s. On the packing slip, Zach’s said “Baby’s 1st Hor.”
Our creepy clown ornament that we hang on to because it’s a Lenox limited edition. I think we won it as a door prize at one of the company Christmas parties when DH worked there, or everyone got them that year. Every year we say, “What’s in this box? Oh, the clown.” *shudder*

My husband got me this the first Christmas we were married.

We picked this one up because the ornaments tended to run about $1 or $2 at the employee sales when DH worked at Lenox. We figured since it had 2000 on it, it’d be nice to have. It’s supposed to be a champagne bottle in a bucket, but what do YOU think it looks like? I know we giggle as we hang it on the tree every year.

This is one of the ornaments that’s left from what my Grandma had. I have fond memories of her bringing up the ornaments from the basement every year and getting to help decorate the tree.

And lastly, here’s our angel that we can’t put on top of the tree this year. The branches that would support her have lights on them, and we’re afraid the lights would melt the plastic that hold her skirt in shape. Another strike for the prelit tree. She’s the same angel DH and I bought when we put up our first tree together 9 years ago.

Now, there’s a reason I made you suffer through all these pictures. There’s a contest to win a Zune player over at An Island Life.

This post had me in hysterics! And you know nothing ever makes me actually lol! Especial at 7am! I would be afraid to pack that clown away, just in case it sneaks out to get revenge sometime in may. Also, hold tight to your grandmas ornament. I love those and have my grandmas collection of ones like that. Oh, and hold onto that hor too! Every boy needs a reminder of his first hor!
Oh wow!!! You collect different ornaments like we do. All the patriotic ones, the wedding ones and of course, the really ugly ones, but they are part of the family tradition. So you kind of have to put them up.
I loved your post.
I loved your post!
Even though I don’t celebrate Christmas, I love all of the trappings. That is a gorgeous tree! I love your ornaments.
Lovely tree and ornaments. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog too.
Great post. Reminds me that I have nothing for the tree to commemorate my first Christmas with my new hubby.
You tree looks so pretty. I love having lots of different ornaments on the tree and I’m with you…that clown is creepy!
Amanda, the clown ornament reminds me of “Chucky”…..I’m waiting for it to attack with that thing it’s holding. – Kip
Love the patriotic ones!!!!
hehe, “babys first hor!” Of course the Clown makes me shudder too so you aren’t the only one! Great tree!
Okay I have to admit I like the clown!!!
