Endust Free Hypoallergenic – Review

Several *cough* months ago, I was sent some samples of Endust Free Hypo-Allergenic Dusting and Cleaning Spray to try. We all have allergies in our house, and now besides myself, the boys have both officially been diagnosed with asthma. The Endust Free says on the can that it’s free of perfumes, less irritating ingredients, and is a reduced mist spray. It also comes in an eco-friendly can. Endust Free Hypo-Allergenic Dusting and Cleaning Spray is a multi-surface formula. You can use it on your furniture, counters, walls, floors, just about anywhere that collects dust.

The Pros:

-The dust didn’t come back as quickly as it does with my usual product.
-Can be used on different surfaces. I even did the main set of stairs we use.
-The spray doesn’t hang in the air for those of us who are sensitive to such things.
-The product itself didn’t irritate my allergies, and the dust didn’t aggravate them as much as usual when I dust (I’m horrible at dusting).

The Cons:

-Really the only con for me is that this is a spray and I have to spray it onto a rag and then use it. I’m a lazy cleaner. Keeping clean rags is just one more chore that I’d rather not have. I prefer cleaning products in wipe form. I know it’s not “green” of me, but with fibromyalgia, a husband who’s often away because of the Army, and small kids, the easy way is the only way the dusting is even remotely going to get done.

Would I recommend this product?

Yes! It lives up to the claims on the can. I’m just too lazy to use a spray and a rag when there are other products that come in a wipe form. It’s sheer laziness on my part. I can admit that. If you’re not too lazy to clean with a spray and a rag, then this would definitely work for you.

Would I buy it?

Not in its current form. If Endust were to put this formula in a wipe form though, I’d be all over it.

About Amanda

Amanda Griffiths sometimes feels as though she's running a zoo instead of a home. With two active autistic boys, they often make the noise of six kids. Pepper in some Army life and cyber schooling for spice, and it's organized chaos at best. When visiting, please don't feed the animals. They have food allergies.
