I let my three year old play with my phone when we’re eating out and he needs a distraction. He likes to draw or play with the calculator. Sometimes he goes online and plays on the Nick Jr. site. The other day however, he had a new trick. I got an e-mail from a friend asking if I’d changed my number because she got a message in Spanish, and it went so fast, you could only pick up a couple words. Then I made a mental note to call Verizon and figure out what he did to my voice mail, but not right then since it was almost bedtime for the kids and dinner time for my husband and I.
Yesterday I got a call from the ABA therapist with the same thing, only he had gotten an actual person. So I looked in my recent calls and I saw where my son had dialed * and some numbers. I called Verizon to see what was up. It turns out he forwarded my calls to Los Bizcochos catering service in Puerto Rico. Oops. Lesson learned. Pay more attention to what the kid is doing with my phone so no one calls Puerto Rico.

LOL I knew something was wrong.

I can so see my son doing that. LOL. He added contacts to my mother’s cell phone. He would probably have us forwarding calls to Antarctica. Wonder what that bill would be lol.
Dying laughing here. I don’t let my kids play with my cell, because I’m afraid they’ll call China. Guess Puerto Rico is just as bad. So sorry!

LOL! My 8 YO DD thinks that she can call China to order Chinese food! She’s hot to get ahold of my phone to get some sweet and sour pork!
