Support the Troops With a Handbag

stockingsCentral PA resident Eve Baum supports our troops and their families in a very unique way – through handbags at Militaryhandbag.com. Ladies (or soldiers if you want to surprise a loved one) can send her a uniform to have a custom handbag and/or accessory made just for you. She even has stockings and baby blankets in her catalog. Also make sure to check the End of Postage Fees section for details about reimbursement for sending your uniform(s).

I can honestly say that I’ve been coveting one of these products since I found the site and became a fan on Facebook. These custom products can serve so many purposes. In my case, I’d like to find my husband’s DCUs (I know they’re here somewhere), and commemorate our first deployment as a married couple. It was a very emotional time for all of us. Sure we could just save the uniforms, but to have something functional is so much better. This would also be a great way to have something made for a child so they can feel closer to their soldier parent during times of separation, whether it’s a TDY assignment or a deployment.

Recently, Eve was featured in a spot on our local news. You can just tell by watching the clip how much she really loves her work. I have no doubt from what I’ve seen on the Militaryhandbag.com Facebook page that the women working with you on your creation do everything they can to make your experience a great one.

  5. What a wonderful company, thank you for sharing this with us. I would love to do this with one of Nik’s uniforms when he gets back from Afghanistan.
I also love that she donates some of her proceeds to help the troops and their families.
