This was something I experimented with this weekend. I wanted to try to find something new to add to our football munchy menu. It came out rather tasty, so I thought I’d share the recipe with y’all.
Ingredients:
1lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning (brand of your choice)
1 package of Laughing Cow cheese with chipotle
1/4 cup cream
1 small (14oz) can of chicken broth
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1. Start the meat browning in a medium to large frying pan. Keep stirring meat as you go with the cheese sauce.
2. Start the butter melting over medium-high heat in a medium sauce pan.
3. When butter is just melted, add flour and whisk to make a roux.
4. Let roux cook for a minute or two.
5. Add chicken broth to sauce pan. Whisk until broth and roux are smooth.
6. Let broth and roux mixture come to a boil and thicken.
7. Add cream to sauce pan.
8. Drain meat and add taco seasoning when browned. Cook according to directions on taco seasoning packet.
9. When cream is warm in saucepan, add cheese one triangle at a time, whisking until melted. Use all individually wrapped triangles in package.
10. When cheese is all melted into sauce, add meat and stir.

That does sound yummy! Bookmarking for later-thanks!
