PCSing by the Numbers

-3 days since DH had a meeting and was told nothing. The subject of the meeting had nothing to do with the fact that he needs orders soon.
-4 months until the cadets commission and DH’s job is essentially done since he’s not slated to be there next year.
-6 months until they tear this house down.
-4 x2 boys are the specialists I need to coordinate care
-2 IEPS that need transferred
-2 schools to find and enroll kids
-1 place we need to possibly find to live

Hours I’m stressed about all of this – endless.

About Amanda

Amanda Griffiths sometimes feels as though she's running a zoo instead of a home. With two active autistic boys, they often make the noise of six kids. Pepper in some Army life and cyber schooling for spice, and it's organized chaos at best. When visiting, please don't feed the animals. They have food allergies.

  1. I know the feeling! The military invests so much in keeping up morale and family morale because it improves retention…but then it is just the simple things, such as giving us a little notice about PCS moves and the like where they just add to the frustration! It seems like it would just be so easy to keep people in the loop about these non-OPSEC issues and they would be so much less stressed!

Hope you get some information, soon, so you can start planning!

Thank you for stopping by the Military Monday Family Blogger Linky!

  2. Sounds like a nightmare! Ahh, how frustrating.
