Sometimes I read and see things that just make the things going on in my life seem fairly insignificant. Right now I’m just thankful for what I have and my family. Sure we have our trials and tribulations, but we still have our home. So many people lost everything in the flooding last week when the remnants of tropical storm Lee dumped ark worthy amounts of rain on this area. Areas that had never flooded before were suddenly taking on water. The cleanup will be a process.
Then I read about a fellow milspouse blogger who got word that her deployed husband has been seriously injured. They will both have a long road ahead. (For an update and to send cards)
Another friend is fighting for treatment for her child just so her 3 year old child can walk. Something so many of us take for granted every day.
So, at the end of the day, the stuff I have going on right now seems pretty damn petty and insignificant.

I heart you. And nothing in our lives is insignificant. It’s all a matter of perspective. ((HUGS)) Thank you for sharing our story.
My heart goes out to them. You are right, you have no idea how insignificant the little things that go wrong in your daily life are, til you see the trials that others are faced with.
