No matter how many times you cook, or cook with hot oil (even just a little bit), safety is imperative. I learned that last night. Otherwise, you can land yourself in the ER with 2nd degree burns.

Amanda Griffiths sometimes feels as though she's running a zoo instead of a home. With two active autistic boys, they often make the noise of six kids. Pepper in some Army life and cyber schooling for spice, and it's organized chaos at best. When visiting, please don't feed the animals. They have food allergies.

that’s awful! I’m so sorry this happened to you. I’ve been burned before, but never by oil. I hear it really sucks.
Did they give you some of that miracle silver sulfa-whatever cream? Dave was burned by a whole vat of frying oil when he worked at a pizza shop and doesn’t even have a scar after that cream. But it’s like, totally black market and hard to get. Maybe not now with the internet, I’m not sure. They do stock it in pharmacies tho. I’m not sure why it’s such a hassle to get.
anyway, ouch. I’m sorry.
