Black Friday Photo
Click the image to enlarge if you need to. This was the line when I got to Toys R Us a little before 11pm on Thanksgiving night for the midnight opening for Black Friday. You can see I took this picture from my nice warm car while all those people stood out in the rain. Many didn’t have umbrellas. The line stretched all the way down the side of the building to the back. I figured waiting in the rain at that point was futile, and I may as well just wait in my car. Shortly after I took this, a local news crew came to set up a camera just off to the left, across from my car.
Toys R Us was one of the retailers that had many if not all of the same deals online as they did in store that day. I would have been pissed to have stood out in the rain and then to get home and find out I could’ve stayed home and dry. I was mad enough as it was finding that out when I went to show a friend later that morning what I had gotten our 3yo. I could’ve stayed home and just clicked away on the computer rather than drive 40 minutes and wait for an hour for the store to open.

That's what it was like here too. Man, read my post about ToysRUs on Black Friday the other day. I thought we were going to be brawling in line. That was horrible!
I can't believe they are 3 either. Amanda, they are growing up way too fast on us! While we don't age at all right? Cept, my birthday is in 2 weeks. I think I won't acknowledge it this year. I don't feel 35 yet. LOL
My husband and I braved the Black Friday sales too! Stood in line for 2 hours for a TV and laptop.

There is no way I could ever have stood in that line…I am way too impatient!

Yeah, I don't get how people can stand in line like that on Black Friday. I even wrote a post about it.
I went out the next morning, but not till like 10. TRU was still crazy though.
I have always been one of those crazy people who would stand in line,but I just couldnt bring myself to do it this year. Pics like this remind me why! LOL Thanks for sharing! Happy WW!
Wow that is just insane. We don't have Black Friday here in Canada. We do have something called Boxing Day which is the 26th of December and is the same thing as Black Friday. I would have been pissed to if I had found out about the online shopping.
Those lines are exactly why I dont leave the house early for BF shopping. I'm way to impatient for that crap! You're a brave woman!

Crazy. I was at home warm in my bed when everyone else was out waiting in long lines. I would rather pay regular price for anything than deal with that maddness. lol
That line is crazy! Next year, it's all online for me!
