Boring
Things have settled back into our usual routines around here. That tends to equal boring, but boring can be good. Zach’s back in school, DH is off to a school for the week, then when he comes back, he hits the ground running with the start of a new semester next Monday. He’s got 5 sections of classes this semester as well as additional duties with the leaving of one cadre member. Who knows when they’ll get a replacement. The nice thing about the early semester this year is that commencement is early so that will give us some time with DH before he leaves for LDAC this summer.
Aaron and I just hung around the house yesterday only venturing out to go to the post office and a brief trip to Target. Too bad once I got to target I totally forgot why I was there. Today is more of the same with a doctor appointment to get the results of my lab work thrown in for some extra fun. See? Such an exciting life.
Oh wait, we do have some excitement coming this afternoon. We’re supposed to get an ice storm that could turn into a major event. It’s supposed to last a full 24 hours with the sleet and freezing rain. We’ll see. Our weather people aren’t exactly accurate when predicting storms. I’m prepared for the worst, but I’m not holding my breath either.

at least you get exciting weather. we haven’t had a winter storm here in years. boring!
Yeah, our weather people were calling for a “wintery mix” on Monday. It was freaking 60 degrees outside, lol.
We’re waiting for the ice storm too! Thanks for the suggestion about the Hyland’s ear drops – they helped!
We were supposed to get 3 inches of snow where I am, we have 7 so far and about 3 more expected. LOL!
