Brought to You by the Letters B and F

[ 6 ] September 5, 2008 | Amanda

Today’s post is brought to you by the letter B for black eye, and the letter F for fibromyalgia. Not much to say about the fibromyalgia except it’s kicking my ass. I’ve been overdoing things with all the running around and stuff that needs done around the house. I’m waving my white flag. When the dumpster gets here Monday or Tuesday I’m chucking the crap that’s garbage that we’ve accumulated, broken toys, etc. then I’m packing up the donatable stuff for Goodwill and calling them to come pick it up or I’ll drop it off, and then the movers can come in and pack us up and move us. I’ll deal with the rest at me leisure in the new house. We just need to get moved.

For the letter B, we have black eye. Aaron gave himself a black eye at the doctor’s office the other day. He was playing with his cars and tripped and hit the step thingy on the exam table. No family pictures this weekend. That’s OK, I don’t have our shirts anyways. I’ve decided we’re all wearing black t-shirts and jeans. DH asked “Why black?” My response was, “We’ve already done white shirts and jeans.” LOL isn’t that great logic? And I’ll take this moment to plug Onehanesplace.com. I got 5 shirts for around $30 and $1.99 standard shipping with code 608908. I have clothing texture issues and I love their T’s.

Here’s a couple pictures of Pork Chop’s first black eye. It didn’t show up too well because the flash went off and he’s so white it reflected much of the flash back at me.

You can see he’s really no worse for wear other than it looks bad.

Our sitter brought her baby over yesterday too. She’s adorable! I could hold her all day. I told DH, “She’s only cute because I can give her back.” It’s true too. I’m so glad I can enjoy these new babies and then give them back to their rightful parents. I’m ready to just raise mine and watch them grow up on me. We’re almost to potty training age with Aaron, then no more diapers – woohoo! I’m figuring in another year or so. I know that seems like a long time to some, but in parenting years it’s fast.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! I plan on getting some much needed R&R and maybe scrapping today since my body doesn’t want to do much other than sit or nap.

I feel the same way about babies, they are adorable, but I enjoy giving them back. I actually start to panic when I imagine going back to the baby/sleepless nights period! LOL

Sorry you’re feeling so funky and I hope it goes away SOON! Poor baby with his black eye, I noticed it right away in the photos. Oh yeah, I LOVE your avi over at DST. I think that Santa’s about the only one I believe in considering the alternatives, hehe.

    Enjoy your weekend!!!

No better place to give himself a black eye than at the doctor’s office. Hugs!!
