Color Me a Song
Crayola has been busy putting out some new items for this Christmas shopping season. One of those items is the Color Me a Song. Color Me a Song is for kids ages 2 and up. How it works is that the child colors on a piece of paper and the music plays faster or slower depending on how fast or slow the child is drawing or coloring. My three year old son finds this product highly entertaining. He’s not only drawn on the paper, but also the Color Me A Song device itself has been christened into the family by being drawn on as well. The crayon cleaned off easily with a multipurpose cleaning wipe.
As a parent, I like that this toy is like a lap desk for my child and he can sit anywhere and draw. If he could be trusted to draw only on the paper, I’d even take it in the car.
There’s a drawer in the side that holds the crayons that come with the Color Me A Song toy. The crayons are triangular in shape allowing for an easy grip for little hands. The drawback is when your child wants to play with this toy at 6am. The music it emits isn’t such a pleasant sound that early in the morning.
Overall, I think this is a great gift for the young child who loves music and loves to draw.
*Product was provided to my family for testing by Crayola through My Blog Spark. This has no bearing on my opinions.

These sound really adorable… I like the idea that the music plays faster or slower depending on how quickly your child colors. It teaches them consequences. I get you about the 6AM music!!
Great picture of you son!!
Thanks for the review, I'll have to keep this in mind for my grandson's birthday.
