For Shellie
I woke up this morning just going about my day. I was checking e-mail, chatting with a friend on Yahoo messenger, thinking about my plans for the day, and then I came across Trisha’s post on the MomDot blog about Shellie. I don’t even remember now how I got to that post. It all hit me like a ton of bricks. One of our own has experienced a tragedy. Shellie, fellow military wife, fellow blogger, and fellow MomDotter lost her two year old son. He was found in the pool. I can’t even imagine their feeling of loss. Losing a child is something no parent should ever experience. I know there aren’t any words that are adequate, but my heart goes out to Shellie and her family during this time.

Hearing about this has shaken us all to the core.
All we can do is pray.
It is heartbreaking what has happened. When Trisha told me my first reaction was denial…
