Friday! And I Have Random Stuff

It’s Friday, May 1, 2009. I can’t come up with a cohesive blog post thanks to 2 children who are already in rare form at 7am. Usually they’re still sleeping.

-If you’re a digital scrapbooker, today kicks off (Inter)National Scrapbooking Day. I’ll admit I’m a bad scrapper and I have no idea what the actual day is, but I know there’s events and sales going on in all the stores all weekend. I’ve been out of the loop lately since my scrapping has fallen by the wayside, but I’ll be visiting some of my favorite stores like Scrapbookgraphics, Weeds and Wildflowers and Shabby Princess.

-Today also kicks off 31 Bloggers in 31 Days over at MomDot. There’s a new blog featured every day with a giveaway. There’s some really good stuff to be had out there. I know I’ll be blog hopping every day. Don’t forget to stop by here the 17th-31st for my giveaway as well.

- This month is also Military Appreciation Month. If you check around, your town may have events for Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, and if you live near a post or base, Military Spouse Appreciation Day (We share it with VE Day).

- We’ve taught our 2yo to say “Hey, hey, hey” just like Fat Albert. It cracks us up every time.

- My 7yo calls the backs of his knees “knee pits.” I guess since we have arm pits the same concept applies to our legs.
