Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. I woke up and counted my blessings. I do so on a fairly regular basis, but today seems to give them emphasis because most others are doing the same. This year I’m thankful for a lot. I’m thankful that this is another year that my husband isn’t deployed again.
Even though things don’t always go right, I am thankful for the Army. Because of the Army, my husband has a job, we can put food on our table, clothes on our backs, and we have a roof over our heads. Over the years, overall, the Army has been pretty good to us.
I’m also thankful for our family and friends. Sure, I may curse them all as I’m addressing Christmas card envelopes because there’s so many, but it’s great to know we love and are loved by so many.
Funny as it may sound, I’m thankful for this blog. It gives me an outlet during the day to share my thoughts. I’ve made some great friendships through blogging. Blogging has made me realize just how small the world really is out there.
And today, I’m even thankful for my kids. One is even still sleeping now at a little after 8am. I’m always thankful for them, but sometimes they make it hard when I’m playing referee before 7am some days. My boys certainly do like to try my patience, but I always love them.
And last, but not least, I’m thankful for my husband. He truly is wonderful. I can’t put into words what it means to me to have found a partner in life that loves me unconditionally. Someone who truly is a partner. He’s not afraid to dig in and share in parenting duties and even things around the house.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving day. I've missed talking to you online but I see now you have been just as busy as I have. What's up with that? LOL

Here's hoping that you have another year of having YOUR husband home and ALL the husbands, sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, brothers, sister, etc. coming home and no more deployments, and peace on earth!
