Jump Rope for Heart

zach-on-rock-for-webIt’s that time of year again where I beg shamelessly a couple times for my son Zach for donations for Jump Rope for Heart. He looks forward to raising money for the American Heart Association every year through this program at his school, and of course we fully support this interest. We’re no strangers to heart issues in our families. My husband and I have both experienced a loved one with heart problems. I know there are a lot of honorable charities out there, but if you would like to donate to the American Heart Association, please visit Zach’s personal page. Donations will be accepted until February 7, 2010. Then I will need to print out the form showing his online donations to take to school.

*If anyone has concerns about where the money goes, it all goes to the American Heart Association. We only see how much was donated and by whom if you so choose so that we may say “thank you,” and then I print out a form that Zach turns in to his school so his online donations can be counted in his school’s totals for Jump Rope for Heart.

My daughter does this every year at school too! We are no strangers to heart issues as well – on both sides of our family, there are serious concerns. I worry about my kids’ health when they get to our age.
