Perception
I just want to take a moment to say that situations are all about perception. Refreshing one’s blog over and over and over and over again all day long switching from one IP to another may not be considered stalking by traditional definition. However, when you have a person who has had unwanted physical contact with one person, and can’t seem to take no for an answer when many other bloggers tell this person, “No” in reference to running reviews and giveaways on their blogs, then when I write about this person and see IPs in an area they’re from refreshing over and over and over and over again, sometimes every few seconds ALL day, I feel threatened. From anyone else, you’re right, it’s not really a big deal. They’re probably just watching the train wreck unfold as it happens. For someone who has proven that when a woman says, “No,” and they can’t seem to understand that no means no, the threat no matter how perceived becomes very real.
I also have to add that given this person’s seemed pattern of behavior that other women are telling me, I do not feel that calling my blog “Confessions from a Household of Sex” was a Freudian slip or a typo. Again, it’s perception. I am severely offended by having my blog demeaned in that manner, and I am not a person to get offended easily.

I agree. I had a similar experience with a chat room person. Every time he would IM me, it was full of sexual comments and over and over I told him I did not appreciate that and if he didn't stop I'd blow his cover in the chat room. He didn't, I did, he was ostrasized from the chat room and many of the regulars friends lists.
It is horrible that you have to feel nervous like that. Let's hope they actually do something about this situation.
Man, that's just too totally creepy. I don't even know how to tell if someone does that. Having been stalked in real life, I don't know if I WANT to know if someone is doing that to my blog. After my assault in 2001, I was stalked by the person who assaulted me (since I knew him, he felt the NEED to "appologize" to me for the deed!). I don't like to think of him reading my blog, so I don't think I want to know if he is.
I don't blame you for being upset. I would be as well. Mixing up the i and e uhhh I don't think so, they're on opposite ends of the keyboard.
