Random Friday Ramblings

- My 2yo has reached “naked baby stage.” He wants to take his cloths off at random times throughout the day and run around the house in his diaper. This works against him when he wants to go outside and mean ol‘ mom won’t let him because it’s too cold with no clothes on.

- I moved the computer downstairs to the living room. My CPU is now on the floor where it used to be. The problem is that now the way I sit I keep bumping the power button off and shutting my computer off while I’m in the middle of doing something. If I’m really lucky, I’ll also flip the power source switch in the back when the CPU hits the back of the desk.

- My husband has been TDY for 2 days. Guess how many I cooked dinner. None. I’ll cook tonight.

- We’re back to driving an hour for good Mexican food. At least Chili’s has good chips and salsa.

- I’ve had to tell my 7yo every.single.night. for I don’t know how long to stop getting his brother wound up right before bedtime. It’s getting VERY old.

- If I plug my vacuum cleaner into the same outlet with the tv, the tv goes off.

- My kids can’t seem to hear me unless I speak above 90 decibels. Then they wonder why I always yell. I know they CAN hear because we’ve had their hearing tested and they have ear tubes – both of them. They choose not to listen.

- My sister’s getting married in June and I feel old. I remember the day my dad and stepmom brought her home from the hospital.
