Saturday Randomness
This is what you get when I wake up at 4:30am and I don’t want to. I had the pleasure of waking my children at 5am so we could be out the door and on our way to the airport by 5:30am. At least no one talked to me until about 6:30am. I’m just not a morning person.
- The birthday scooter was such a bust that my son begs me by 8am every day to go out and ride it in the driveway. I guess it wasn’t such a bad gift after all.
- I found the secret to getting a 2year old to sit still. Wake them up at 5am. It’s now almost 10am and my 2yo is sitting on the couch quietly watching the Disney Channel.
- Drinking too much caffeine makes my eye lid twitch. I’m back on the Dr. Pepper wagon now that school’s out and I can’t nap on days I’m have a bad fibro day. It’s the only way I can stay awake.
- Aaron still will not say “triangle.” We’ve been working on this. He still says “Tiko.” We’ve worked on each syllable, then I very slowly said “triangle.” He then very slowly said “tiiiiiikkkkkooooo” Like I was an idiot and saying it wrong.
- 8 year old boys just do not get the concept of flushing the toilet.
- I have a neighbor with a cat that has a price on its head. There are 2 cats that have still been roaming since all the students moved out. I assume they belong to permanent party families since they have collars. Animals outside are to be on leashes, not pushing my kids’ sandbox cover aside and peeing in it. I’m calling the housing office on Monday to tell them they can either fix the situation or I’m catching the cats when they’re in my yard and taking them to the Humane Society. And don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate cats, I just hate cats with irresponsible owners who let them come pee in MY kids’ sandbox that has a lid and it WAS on until the cat moved it.

I'm here to tell you that 18 year old boys don't flush the toilet either. Oh yeah, neither do 47 year old boys.
LOL I hate mornings too! My husband loves them, though. We're well matched in everything but that.
