We Got Dates
Ladies and Gentlemen, we have moving dates! Woohooo! We’re getting packed up on October 6th and then loaded up here and unloaded at the new house October 7th. I can’t wait. My anxiety has been setting in with DH gone during the week and I haven’t been sleeping much at all. This is leaving me susceptible to migraines and fibromyalgia flare ups. Hopefully I’ll be so busy these next few weeks I’ll just fall into bed exhausted.
Tomorrow is a big day too. Star Wars Force Unleashed comes out. We of course have a reserved copy that I’ll be fetching from Game Stop. LOL I know DH can’t wait to play it, and he’ll be able to preview it at the new house before Zach sees it to see how appropriate it is, if at all at this point.
Our weekend was pretty uneventful. We watched Superbad on Friday night since we had a free Starz preview weekend here on the tv. It was pretty funny. I wasn’t impressed with the ending, and the move seemed to drag on after awhile. It reminded me of Can’t Hardly Wait.
Saturday we spent watching football. Penn State won – woohoo! Ohio State lost – woohoo! Ohio lost – yeah we figured, but only by 3 LOL. We saw some of the Cal and Maryland game. That was a pretty good game. Although I could’ve done without seeing the one guy puke all sorts of green stuff right when the camera cut to him laying on the field after he took a big hit. Can we say concussion? Poor kid’s helmet came off and everything. Of course Zach being a 7 year old boy thought it was funny that it was green puke and that Mommy said “Ewwwwwww.”
Sunday was more football as DH and I are both playing in a fantasy league this year. My players SUCKED. Suckety suck suck sucked. How the hell does a quarterback for the Patriots only score 37 points? Cassel killed me. And so did Derek Anderson and his 32 points. To top it off, I played DH this week. Of course it didn’t help that he had Jason Campbell who got 180 points. Pffft. My favorite part of the pro football is watching for the injury reports to see who we’re going to play, and seeing players when they’re out because of a toe injury. Seriously? That cracks me up every time. Another thing that cracks me up is in college when these big tough football players walk out holding hands for the coin toss. The only good thing about losing – again – this week is that I’ll be high up on the waiver list and can try and get some more people. I need running backs and a couple wide receivers that can produce enough to get me through bye weeks.
I was hoping to take the boys out and get some pictures since Zach’s been asking to go to the corn maze, but it rained all day Friday and Saturday, and Sunday was so humid and hot you could cut the air with a knife. Maybe next weekend. There’s a park I’d like to get some pictures of them one last time before we leave this area.

Congrats on having moving dates!
I can’t believe you dogged my Buckeyes after all I’ve been through this weekend. hahahaha
Congrats on getting the moving date. Sorry I can’t drive the 10 hours to help.
I’m very, very happy for you both. And I’m glad that Dad will be around to help a bit more. Hopefully you’ll sleep better knowing that it’s only a few more weeks.
Loved the sheep story from today too. Can you tell, I’ve got my power back. Yipee!!! And you’re my first stop.
Have a great day!!
