Wordless Wednesday – Sort Of

I know the 2nd picture is a bit blurry and it showcases our come in the door and drop everything area, but beyond that there’s a story here. The boys are wearing the exact same shirt. Zach on the left has just turned 4. We were getting ready to go to King’s Island with his godmom and I wanted the first pic on the roll of film (yes, back in 35mm days) to be of him in case he got lost. Hence why he looks so thrilled with me. The kid on the right is his little brother Aaron on Monday at roughly age 2 1/2. Aaron is also leaning forward a little bit. How long do you think it’ll be before Aaron and Zach are wearing the same size clothes? Zach’s now in an 8 and Aaron’s in 4′s. They’re 7 and 2 years old respectively.

That’s a great idea to take a pic of your child in case they get lost–I’m going to have to remember that tip when we start taking our son to amusement parks, etc. Happy WW!
We have two little guys (2 1/2 and almost 11 months) and they are 1 size apart in clothing. It’s CRAZY!
Great tip! They are adorable!

Wow that sure shows how children grow differently !
Oh and they are both very handsome.
Very cool. We have the same thing going here. Our 1 yer old is about 2 lbs. lighter than our 4 year old…
My boys are 4 years apart. Now at 17 and 13, they were almost the same size; expection being pants (one is slightly taller than the other, so the length is different but waist is the same).
Of course, unlike girls, they don’t share clothes. lol
I never thought of doing that! Great idea! They are so cute, and goes to show how each child from the same family can be so different!
Cute boys!
Someday they can wear the same clothes, but if they are like my boys they won’t want to wear “their brothers” clothes lol. Cute pics too.
That’s cool! My 2.5 year old twins wear a lot of my 4.5 year old’s clothes. They grow up too fast!
Yeah, my 8 year old is still in size 6 and my 4 year old is still in size 2-3. My youngest (2) is in 18-24 mo. Some day soon they’ll all be sharing clothes! lol
Oh big boy! LOL
I remember my brothers and I always were swapping clothes, especially in high school. Much easier when you can’t find something to wear, so you just grab something from your brother’s closet!
At least they’ll be able to share clothes if they’re in the same size! If it’s any consolation, I just had to buy size 8 shirts for my 4 year old because the kid is to tall! Craziness.
Awww cuties. My youngest and my oldest can almost wear the same size.
I miss the 35mm cameras, the sound the roll made when it rewound. the anticipation of not knowing what was on the film…
My 2 year old is in 2T clothes and they are all like high waters. I don’t want her to grow up so I refuse to open up the 3T box of her big sister’s clothes!
Taking a picture of them before you go somewhere is brilliant.
That is amazing how different they are in age yet wearing the same shirt!
